Requesting For A Refrigerator



The following findings can be regularly bring in schizophrenic patients:

Neuroanatomical findings:
■ extension of the lateral ventricles and the 3rd Ventricle (associated with poor premorbid adjustment performance of requirements of the social environment, and also with cognitive disorders)
■ Expansion of the external CSF spaces
■ Left-side driven, parenchyma, pathological cell arrangements or a reduction in nerve cell numbers
• in the frontal and temporal lobe (important for cognitive processes)
• in the temporal lobe, including temporal and limbic structures in the central and cingulate gyrus (important for the drive and the affectivity, disorder resulting in a "negative symptoms")
• at thalamus (important for processing information and the coordination of movements) •
in the basal ganglia, respectively. in the caudate nucleus, apparently depending on neuroleptic treatment (major importance in the evaluation of impressions)
